Duke - URGENT

Duke is a handsome 1-year and 6-month-old Shepherd mix who is urgently in need of a loving home. He is currently at the Kern County Animal Services - Bakersfield Shelter, and sadly, he has an upper respiratory infection. This condition puts him at risk, and he needs to be in a safe and caring environment as soon as possible.

Ideal Home

Duke is looking for a home where he can recover and thrive. Given his current health situation, a quiet and comfortable environment would be ideal.

Ongoing Health

Duke is being treated for an upper respiratory infection. He is spayed/neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Duke is not house-trained. He will benefit from patient and consistent guidance to help him learn.

Transportation

Duke is currently located at the Kern County Animal Services - Bakersfield Shelter. Transportation can be arranged for adopters on the West Coast, but adopters will be responsible for any associated transport fees.
