Meet Silly Lily – Your Playful, Cuddly Companion! Lily is a sweet brindle boxer/staffy mix with a big heart and a joyful, puppy spirit. Estimated to be around 9 months to a year old, she's still very much a puppy and brings all the fun, curiosity, and enthusiasm that comes with that stage. Her foster mom chose her among hundreds at the shelter due to her special sweetness. Lily's story began at a kill shelter, where her foster mom first noticed her sweetly perched in the corner, watching the world with curious eyes. Since then, she's grown into a friendly, affectionate girl who loves being part of everything happening around her. Lily has the most loving gaze and is always thrilled to see her people. She'll be right there to greet you when you come home and happily tries to say hello to everyone she meets—she truly believes all humans are friends.
Ideal Home
Lily is looking for a home that enjoys young dog energy, cuddles, and lots of love. She would thrive in a home with another playful dog and would likely do well with older kids due to her playful enthusiasm. She has been around cats and enjoys interacting with them, though her playful enthusiasm may be best suited for confident or playful cats who don't mind a dog being involved.
Ongoing Health
Lily has been recently diagnosed with arthritis, so a home that's mindful of her joints (like minimizing stairs and helping her stay at a healthy weight) and keeping her comfortable as she ages—which may include medications—would be ideal.
Training & Support
As a young playful dog, Lily thrives with structure, enrichment, and supervision, which help her channel her curiosity into toys, play, and learning. With consistency, she continues to do beautifully. She is doggy-door trained and has been doing without her crate the past few weeks.
