Bounce

Bounce is his name, and bounce is what he does! He's a friendly little guy with plenty of energy. Bounce came to us as a puppy during COVID with several other dogs. While the others found homes, Bounce never had anyone meet him. He became part of our sanctuary program, but over the years, he's learned and calmed a bit, and we realized he deserves a more active life. He would be a fantastic companion for an active family. We think he'd do best with teens or older children as he hasn't met small kids before. Bounce isn't a couch potato; he loves to run and play! He gets along with some of the dogs here, but he can be selective, so a home without other dogs would also be perfectly fine. A fenced yard is pretty much a requirement, as we don't think he'd get enough exercise on leash walks alone. He's crate trained and sleeps in his crate overnight. He might need a little work on general house training, as is common with some smaller dogs. Bounce has visited the Monroeville Lowes store multiple times and did wonderfully meeting new people and accepting treats from employees.

Ideal Home

Bounce would thrive in an active home with teens or older children. A fenced yard is a must for him to get adequate exercise. He can be selective with other dogs, so a home without other pets is also a possibility.

Bounce may need some additional house training. He has shown great potential and is eager to please. Continued positive reinforcement training will help him succeed.
