My name is Chocolate, and I'm a sweet and resilient pup looking for my happy ending! My foster family gave me this name because my heart is as sweet as can be. I was rescued and brought to a vet clinic where the kind staff saw my gentle nature despite being scared and sick. They knew I was ready for a fresh start, and hence, Chocolate was born!
My story is one of hope and second chances. I was found tied to a bicycle with a shoestring, struggling to breathe. Thankfully, a kind woman saw my plight, untied me, and paid my owner to take me away to safety. That's how I met my first foster mom, and my life began to change. It took a little while to adjust, but soon I discovered the joy of love and kindness. Now, I live with two wonderful foster moms and a sweet human sister who showers me with kisses. I've learned what a soft bed feels like, discovered the fun of toys, and even get to enjoy delicious homemade chicken sometimes. I also have foster siblings of all sizes who are also waiting for their forever homes.
Ideal Home
I love to run and play, especially with my foster sister Moom! I'm very affectionate and thrive on cuddles, kisses, and close proximity to my people. I'm fully potty trained and consider my crate my cozy safe space. While car rides are still a bit new and things with wheels can make me nervous, I know with a patient and loving person, I'll continue to grow more confident.
Ongoing Health
I am fully vetted and ready to go!
