Mason

Mason is a small, white bundle of fur with a personality as complex as his dietary needs. He might lure you in with his adorable wiggles and happy dances, but be prepared for his playful "tricks"! Mason is a smart, energetic, and cuddly boy who blossoms once he trusts you. He's been waiting at the shelter for over three years for the right person to see his incredible potential.

Ideal Home

Mason would thrive in a quiet, adult-only home where he can be the center of attention. He would do best in a home without children. While he enjoys the company of most dogs and may be okay with cats, a dog introduction would be required if you have other canine companions. He also prefers temperatures between 68-72 degrees Fahrenheit and doesn't enjoy strong winds.

Ongoing Health

Mason has a few health considerations. He experiences a wheezy cough that can be triggered by excitement or anger. He also has a tendency to vomit occasionally. His diet is restricted to chicken only, and he has a thyroid condition that requires regular veterinary check-ups.

Training & Support

Mason can be a bit of a handful and has some specific dislikes, including most men, children, strangers, and the vet. He can be reactive on walks towards people passing by. He needs an experienced owner who is patient, understands his boundaries, and can provide him with a stable and predictable environment.
