Meet Nala, your Sweet, Silly Little Shadow! This adorable 20lb Chihuahua mix, born around February 12, 2023, spent weeks navigating the streets, finding solace in a makeshift cardboard home. She'd follow people, especially children, with a hopeful heart, dreaming of the day someone would choose her. Now safe and flourishing in foster care, Nala is ready to embrace the forever home she truly deserves. She's a bundle of personality – playful, affectionate, and wonderfully goofy. Nala adores her toys and is known to entertain herself by tossing them in the air for a game of fetch!
Ideal Home
Nala would thrive in a home that cherishes a fun, affectionate companion and is committed to helping her continue to build her confidence. Another dog would be a wonderful addition, but it's not a requirement for her to find happiness.

Nala is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed.
Training & Support
Nala is 95% potty trained and fully crate trained. She already knows "sit" and "crate," and is currently working on "stay" and "wait." She walks well on a leash, though she's still learning to focus as everything around her is so exciting. While she may be a little shy initially, give her about 30 minutes to warm up on her own terms, and she'll become your most devoted shadow, showering you with love and affection.

Transporation
Nala is located in Houston, TX. Transport is included in the adoption fee and can be arranged to nearby towns or states. We coordinate with multiple transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states. These are ground transports using third-party vehicles. You will be able to track the van using the Life360 app and receive updates from transport along the way. Facebook chats are also available for tracking updates.
