About Peanut

Hi! My name is Peanut, and I am a 6-month-old male German Shepherd/Great Pyrenees/Lab mix with a sweet personality that makes it nearly impossible not to fall in love with me. I was born as a stray with my siblings, but a Good Samaritan brought us to safety so we could grow up knowing comfort, care, and full bellies. I can be a little shy when meeting new people or experiencing new situations, but once I feel comfortable, my fun, affectionate personality really shines. My foster family says I'm quite the little charmer – equal parts playful, loving, and full of personality. I absolutely love my toys and can often be found happily entertaining myself, tossing them around or settling in for a good chew session. After I've gotten my playtime in, I'm more than ready to trade the toys for some snuggles. I do great with other dogs and truly thrive when I have a canine friend by my side. Because I can be a little timid at first, I'm looking for a home with another friendly, confident dog that I can learn from, gain confidence from, and become best buddies with. Having a dog companion helps me feel secure and brings out my playful side. I am both potty trained and crate trained and have done wonderfully with my routines. I enjoy being around people and am ready to continue learning and growing with a patient family who will help me build confidence and show me just how wonderful life can be. If you're looking for a lovable pup with a gentle heart, a playful streak, and plenty of affection to give, I might just be your perfect match.

Ideal Home

I thrive when I have a canine companion by my side, so a home with another friendly, confident dog is a must for me.

Training & Support

I can be a little shy when meeting new people or experiencing new situations, but I am a quick learner and eager to please. I am already potty trained and crate trained. With patience and positive reinforcement, I know I can continue to build my confidence and become an even more outgoing pup.
