Rory is an absolute sweetheart who blossoms when she knows she's safe and loved. She's estimated to be 5 years old and weighs 57 lbs., possibly a husky/lab mix. Rory is a big fan of toys and loves to play fetch, though she sometimes likes to keep the prize! She's also a chair potato, happily curling up on the armchair for TV time, where she's known to let out quiet snores.
Ideal Home
A home with a yard would be wonderful for Rory. She would also thrive in a family with children, as she is gentle and patient with them. Rory does not need another dog in the home to be happy. A home without cats is essential, as she has shown a strong interest in chasing them.
Ongoing Health
Rory is up-to-date on all vetting, including vaccinations, deworming, flea and heartworm prevention. She is spayed and microchipped.
Training & Support
Rory is house-trained and will let you know when she needs to go outside. She has excellent crate manners and settles down easily. She knows basic commands like "sit" and "lay down" and is a quick learner, responding well to gentle corrections. She is still learning leash manners in new environments but is picking them up quickly.

Rory is located in Texas. Transportation is available nationwide through a USDA-certified transport system. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. For Canadian adopters, pick-up is in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
