Pugsley Addams

Hey there, I'm Pugsley! I'm a handsome 4-year-old, 24-pound French Bulldog/Chihuahua mix with a fawn-colored coat, and I'm on the lookout for my perfect person. My foster mom says I'm an excellent companion and I'm always by her side when she's home. I sleep on the bed with her without any issues, and I'm already crate-trained and housetrained. I also walk nicely on a leash, though I might forget my manners and lunge if I see another dog. I had some past injuries, which might be why I can be a little reactive towards other dogs. Despite my past, I'm ready to live my best life and show you just how much love and loyalty I have to give!

Ideal Home

A house with a backyard would be ideal, as I can get a little overwhelmed if I encounter other dogs on walks. It would be best if there were no children under 10 in the home, and I would do best as the only dog. I'm not the best fit for a first-time dog owner, but I know I could thrive with an experienced handler who can help me build my confidence and learn to feel safe and secure around other dogs.

I had some injuries in the past, but I'm all healed up and ready for my forever home!

Training & Support

I'm already crate-trained and housetrained, and I walk well on a leash. However, I can sometimes lunge at other dogs when I see them on walks, and I would benefit from an experienced handler who can help me work on my reactions and manners.

• You must live within a 60-mile radius of Richardson, Texas.
• You must share veterinary records for all pets currently in your home and all pets owned in the last five years.
• All pets in the home must be spayed or neutered.
• If you rent your home, you must provide verification that pets are allowed on the property.
• You must be willing to be interviewed by an adoption counselor and undergo a home visit.
