Milo

Meet Milo! This 1.5-year-old Jack Russell Terrier mix with a dash of Australian Shepherd is a medium-sized boy, weighing in at 36lbs, and is bursting with personality. Milo is an energetic, goofy, and incredibly fun-loving companion who was rescued from a puppy mill. He has made amazing progress in his foster home, mastering skills like recall, improving his manners, and becoming reliably house-trained. Milo's favorite activities include playing with toys, embarking on adventures, swimming, hiking, going for car rides, and engaging in playful wrestling. He’s a food-motivated, cuddly, alert, and super playful pup who is guaranteed to bring a smile to your face.

Ideal Home

Milo would thrive in a home with another confident dog who can serve as a positive role model. He possesses the prey drive typical of a Jack Russell, so a home mindful of this trait would be ideal.

Ongoing Health

Milo has received a veterinary check-up and is current on age-appropriate vaccinations. He also follows the shelter's flea and tick prevention protocols. He will be neutered and receive all final age-appropriate vaccinations before adoption.

Training & Support

Milo has already learned a great deal, including good recall and house-training. His foster family notes his playful nature, which is like that of a toddler. His food motivation makes him a great candidate for continued training.
