Jackie

Jackie is a 20-lb, spunky, and very sweet girl! She has been through a lot in her short life, having come from a hoarding situation in Oklahoma where she was not socialized, never played in the yard, and was very traumatized. It has been slow progress, but Jackie is so grateful for the time her foster family has spent on her rehabilitation. She is learning that she is safe, that it is okay to be seen, that she is loved and wanted, that cuddles and pets feel good, that leash walks are fun, and that even strangers and new noises at Lowe's are okay. Jackie is doing a great job of learning to be a dog! She bounces around like Tigger when she's excited, loves to explore and sniff the backyard, and plays with her foster brothers and toys. She is ready to look for her furever home.

Ideal Home

Jackie would thrive in a quiet home with another confident, resident dog who can be her sibling and role model. She needs a family that is around a lot to support her continued growth at her own pace.

Ongoing Health

Jackie is spayed and up to date on vaccinations.

Training & Support

Jackie is still learning and growing, but she is making great progress! She is enjoying leash walks and exploring new environments. Continued patience and positive reinforcement will help her continue to blossom.
