Stella #6549

Stella (3 year old Goldendoodle, approx. 60 lbs) and her sister Daisy (5 year old Lab mix, approx. 60 lbs) are inseparable best friends looking for a home where they can stay together forever. Their previous owners sadly passed away, and they were taken in by their neighbors. These sweet girls have made significant progress adjusting to a stable environment and have become very loved.

Ideal Home

Stella and Daisy would thrive in a home that can continue working on their training and confidence. They need a secure, fenced yard for exercise. While they have done well with a 3-year-old child in their current foster home, they would benefit from a family with the time and commitment to help them during their adjustment period.

Ongoing Health

Both Stella and Daisy were underweight when they were rescued, but their current family has worked hard to get them back to a healthy weight and good health. Daisy was treated for a significant flea infestation upon arrival and is now consistently treated with flea and tick prevention.

Training & Support

Stella is crate trained and would benefit from continued training and leash skill development. Daisy needs more practice with leash walking and experiences anxiety during storms. The girls are crated separately during the day when their family is at work or running errands, and they consider their crates "safe zones." They always choose to sleep together in an XL crate in the evenings.
