Toby is a 1-year-old French mix, weighing 11 lbs. He's a bundle of love, kisses, and energy who enjoys walks, running, and playing with other dogs. Toby especially adores men! His past was challenging; he was abandoned and later hit by a car, requiring extensive care to recover. Thankfully, he's healthy today, though he can have occasional bursts of anxious energy. He's an affectionate, loyal boy ready for a second chance at a forever home.
Ideal Home
Toby needs an active, patient family who can help him channel his energy through play, walks, and lots of love. He would thrive in a home with a tall, fenced backyard and an active family that enjoys outdoor activities. He also needs a family with a strong intention to rescue a dog, an open mind about the behaviors of rescued street animals, and experience in dog behavior and training or a willingness to hire a trainer. He requires high tolerance and patience.
Ongoing Health
Toby is up-to-date on all his medicals, including his spay/neuter certificate, DHPPI and Rabies vaccines, Bordetella vaccine, deworming, microchip, 4DX test, and heartworm test. He is on monthly preventive protection with Nexgard Spectra. He has a health certificate and vaccine booklet.
Training & Support
Please note that Toby is not house-trained. Rescued dogs may have fears and anxieties due to past experiences and need time to adapt to new environments and people. Patience, understanding, and a consistent routine with clear boundaries are crucial for him to build trust and feel secure.

- We will speak with 1-2 of your references.
- If approved, you will sign the adoption contract and pay the adoption fee, which helps cover Toby's vet care, vaccinations, microchip, and food.
Transporation
Toby is currently being fostered in Saltillo, Mexico, and is ready to travel to the East Coast on our next cross-country trip. A one-time transport fee of $400 USD covers door-to-door delivery. We organize 3-4 trips per year, with a minimum of 15-20 adoptions per trip. Our contracted transport company will pick up adopted pets in Mexico and deliver them to your home, providing real-time updates throughout the journey.
