Reya aka Baby Wolf

Meet Reya, also known as "Baby Wolf" and "The Tiny Cryptid"! This 10-month-old husky mix is a small package of big opinions and chaotic energy. Reya came to us with her husky "software" fully installed, meaning she's vocal and has a lot to say, whether it's about cats, ghosts, or the wind! She also has a flair for the dramatic, destroying houseplants with artistic passion and playing with other dogs like it's the WWE. Reya is still deciding about people, taking about a month to allow physical contact upon arrival. If you're looking for a dog that wants to cuddle immediately, she's not it. But if you enjoy earning the trust of a unique woodland creature one slow step at a time, you might be her perfect match!

Ideal Home

Reya would thrive in a home with a secure yard, as she has a tendency to want to explore the wilderness. She absolutely needs to have another dog or dogs in the home, as she prefers canine companionship. A secure crate is a must when she's unattended or at night, and we strongly recommend a Ruffland or Impact crate due to her problem-solving skills. Patient humans who understand that trust is earned, not given, are essential. Earplugs are also highly recommended!

Training & Support

Reya is potty trained, but she may leave a "mysterious little secret puddle" if left unattended in the house. Houseplants and flowers should be kept out of reach. She is loud and chaotic, but also gorgeous and incredibly special once she trusts you. She contains approximately 3% manners and 97% woodland spirit!
