Darla

Darla is a sweet shepherd mix puppy who is approximately 4 months old and ready to fill your home with joy and puppy snuggles! She's a tan and black beauty with a short coat and a whole lot of love to give. Darla is a survivor, being the only parvo survivor from her litter, and she's looking for a fresh start in a loving forever home. She's friendly to everyone, loves to play with other dogs, and is a big fan of hugs, kisses, and belly rubs. She even enjoys playing in water!

Ideal Home

Darla would thrive in a home that can offer her plenty of attention and playtime. We recommend a home with children 5 years and older to ensure the safety and comfort of both Darla and young children.

Ongoing Health

Darla is a parvo survivor and has been vaccinated and dewormed. She is up-to-date on flea and tick prevention as of May 5, 2026. Adopters will be responsible for her spay/neuter surgery when she reaches the appropriate age.

Training & Support

Darla is house-trained and uses a doggie door, though she may need a few reminders. She is not currently crate-trained. She enjoys having her nails trimmed, being brushed, and bathed. Darla is a quiet pup who seldom barks and is eager to please.

Application Details:

• Once you are chosen as the adopter, a deposit will be required to hold the pup.
• A non-refundable prepaid receipt from your vet for the spay/neuter surgery will be required before pickup, or a $300 deposit can be made directly to your vet.

Transportation

Darla is located in Selah, WA. We can arrange to meet potential adopters halfway with a rescue partner if traveling to Selah is difficult. We can hold a dog for up to 5 days while transportation is arranged, with an additional boarding fee for each day beyond that.
