Big Mama

Meet Big Mama! She's a 3-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier/Pit Bull Terrier mix with a heart full of affection and a spirit ready for adventure. Big Mama was found as a stray, weighing over 70lbs, but she's since shed the extra weight and is now a healthy 60lbs. She was rescued from a local shelter after being found wandering, and thankfully, we were able to get her to safety. Despite her previous circumstances, Big Mama is incredibly people-friendly and loves nothing more than a good cuddle. She can be a bit unaware of her size when she's excited, so be prepared for some enthusiastic zoomies! While she enjoys lounging indoors, she's all about playtime once she's outside, even being known to hop onto tall patio tables to sunbathe!

Ideal Home

Big Mama would do best in a home with a yard where she can safely enjoy her zoomies. She gets along well with most medium to large male dogs, but she can be assertive with female dogs, so a home with only male dogs would be ideal. She doesn't require a canine sibling to be happy, though! Due to her energetic nature and occasional unawareness of her size, a home without young children is recommended.

Big Mama is currently at a healthy weight and enjoying her active lifestyle.

Training & Support

Big Mama is already potty and crate trained. She's a smart girl who knows "sit" and "shake" and walks well on a leash.
