Meet Benie, a fun-loving and sweet 1-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier mix who weighs 54 pounds. He's quickly become a favorite in his foster home with his affectionate nature and zest for life! Benie spent 4 weeks at Excel K9 Training Academy and has mastered "sit," "place," "stay," and comes whenever called. He also walks perfectly on a leash and can heel. Benie adores people and is ready to share his love with everyone he meets. He's an energetic boy who thrives on playtime and running, so he'd do great with an active family. Despite his energetic nature, he also appreciates calm evenings and is surprisingly quiet, rarely barking. He is house-trained and crate-trained. While he hasn't been exposed to cats yet, his easygoing personality suggests he'll adapt well.
