Meet Star! Star is a wonderfully sweet, 4-year-old Catahoula/Hound mix who embodies resilience and affection. She's been through a lot, including surviving a gunshot that affected her jaw and ear, resulting in her tongue permanently hanging out. Despite her past, Star is a happy-natured and incredibly affectionate dog. She loves to explore and play but also enjoys quiet snuggles. Star is a smart girl who already knows "sit" and is a pro at using the doggie door. She's spayed, fully vaccinated, and ready to find a loving home that will cherish her unique spirit.

Ideal Home

Star would thrive with an active companion who enjoys adventures, as she loves car rides and exploring. She's also happy to settle in for snuggles after a day of fun.

Ongoing Health

Star had jaw surgery due to a past injury, and as a result, her tongue permanently hangs out. She is spayed and fully vaccinated.

Star is a smart girl who already knows "sit" and is proficient with a doggie door.
