Jolene

Jolene is a 7.5-year-old, 56 lb female Coonhound mix who is ready to find her forever home! She originally came to us in 2019 as a stray, found skinny and injured. After surgery to repair a fracture, she was adopted, but sadly, she's now back with us. Her previous home kept her mostly in a separate room with another dog. When she returned, she was understandably scared and anxious.

She's been staying at a wonderful pet resort, where she's made incredible progress! Jolene is now loving, playful with other dogs, and enjoys her chew toys. She's eager for a normal life and longs to be a cherished part of a family. While she may be shy at first in a new home, a little patience and time will help her adjust.

Ideal Home

Jolene would thrive in a home where she can be integrated into family life. Given her past, she would likely do well with a patient adopter who can give her the time and space she needs to feel secure.

Ongoing Health

Jolene had surgery in the past to repair a fracture. She is spayed and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Jolene is house-trained. She may be shy initially and would benefit from an adopter who can provide gentle guidance and positive reinforcement as she adjusts to her new environment.
