Gracie Lou

Gracie Lou is a sweet 5-year-old lady who ended up on her own after her family moved and left her behind. She was found underweight and clearly had a tough time, but you'd never know it from her loving disposition. Gracie Lou is a true companion who enjoys cuddling, relaxing, and simply being with her people. She's not a high-energy dog; a laid-back lifestyle suits her perfectly.

Ideal Home

Gracie Lou can be a bit shy around new things, but she's gaining confidence daily and learning that the world can be a kind place. She finds comfort in her crate and will often retreat there for some quiet downtime. She gets along well with other dogs and even horses! We are unsure how she would do with cats.

Ongoing Health

Gracie Lou is heartworm positive and has begun treatment. The rescue will continue to cover the costs of her care, even if she is adopted before treatment is complete.

Training & Support

Gracie Lou is still learning to trust and adjust to new situations. Providing her with a safe and predictable environment will help her continue to blossom. She is comfortable in her crate and uses it as a safe space.
