Meet Pico

This tiny Maltese gentleman is Pico - estimated to be between 7 and 9 years old - and he is everything you didn't know you needed in a little companion.

Pico was pulled from a shelter after being dumped there with a couple of other dogs, but you would never guess his past from his personality. He is fully vetted, recently had a dental, and is now ready for his next chapter.

And what a personality he has.

Pico is a stage five clinger in the best way possible. He LOVES his people, thrives on attention, and will happily be your shadow all day long. He makes the sweetest eye contact when he wants something (which is often usually more cuddles), and he truly just wants to be held and adored.

He gets along well with other dogs and hasn't been cat tested yet.

Pico does have a cute little quirky gait. His back end can sometimes sway slightly from side to side when he walks, but our vet has confirmed he is neurologically intact. It's likely a muscle tone issue, and nothing that slows him down from enjoying life, love, and snacks.

He is just a little over 4 pounds right now, with an ideal weight of about 5 pounds. He should get there soon now that he's had his dental completed and several painful teeth removed, which will make it much easier for him to eat and gain healthy weight.

He is currently located in the Dallas-Fort Worth area but is adoptable anywhere for the right home.
