Flacko

Meet Flacko, an 8-month-old male German Shepherd Dog mix who's already mastered the art of being a good boy! Weighing around 40lbs, this handsome pup is eager to please and ready to fill your home with joy and playfulness. Flacko loves people and other dogs, and while he dreams of befriending the foster cat, his enthusiastic nature might be a bit overwhelming for felines. He's a quick learner who enjoys snuggling and playing, especially with smaller puppy pals. He’s also done wonderfully with his foster’s 10-year-old nephew and would likely enjoy having human siblings to share adventures with.

Ideal Home

Flacko would thrive in an experienced home that can help him continue to navigate the world with confidence. He's a bit of a wild man during play, but he's learning to respect boundaries. Due to his puppy exuberance and tendencies to jump and pull on the leash, he'll need supervision around very small children.

Flacko is neutered and up-to-date on his vaccinations.

Training & Support

Flacko is house and crate trained! He is working on his puppy manners, including jumping and leash pulling, and would benefit from continued guidance and supervision.

Flacko is currently in a foster home in Houston, TX. He can be transported out of state once an approved adopter is found. Transports run every few weeks.
