Trout

Trout is an incredibly adorable 10-week-old Australian Shepherd/Basset Hound mix with tiny stubby legs and a chunky, fluffy body. He's even cuter in person and is a total sweetie pie who wants to be with you all the time. Trout is confident and adventurous and will follow you anywhere, definitely has that "shadow dog" personality. He is great with other dogs, cats, and kids.

Ideal Home

Trout would thrive in a home where he can be close to his people and go on adventures with them.

Ongoing Health

Trout will come to you spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations (for age), and up to date on preventatives. He will also receive an additional exam and health certificate issued by a state-licensed veterinarian prior to travel and will be bathed prior to adoption. You will also receive a FREE GPS Tracker from Fi + a 6-month subscription to their service. A $450 adoption fee applies to cover vetting.

Transporation

Trout is currently located in Lucedale, MS at our shelter. He is ready to leave on our July 31st transport, which will arrive up north 1-2 days later. Transports generally run every 2 weeks. You are welcome to pick him up in person at our shelter at no cost. If you choose our semi-private transport, there is an additional $185 fee.
