Rocky is a handsome 6-year-old, 90-pound Pit Bull mix with a heart of gold. He was found abandoned in Houston, TX, hungry and in need of some help. Despite his rough start, Rocky is a friendly, sweet, and easy-going boy who is looking for his forever best friend. He enjoys leisurely walks on the leash and is already crate-trained and house-trained. Rocky loves to relax indoors and is good-behaved when he's inside. He is neutered, vaccinated, and heartworm negative.

Ideal Home

Rocky would thrive in a home where he can have his own space for his food, as he can be protective of it due to his past experiences. He gets along well with large dogs, especially females, and is also good with cats. Rocky needs a home with someone who has the time to take him for the longer walks he enjoys and truly desires.

Rocky is neutered, vaccinated, and is heartworm negative (HWN).

Training & Support

Rocky is crate-trained and house-trained. He needs a family who can dedicate time to taking him on longer walks to meet his activity needs.
