Sebastian, a 9-week-old male Chihuahua/Terrier mix, is a little bundle of love weighing in at 3 pounds and expected to grow a bit more. Found abandoned with his siblings in Houston, Sebastian has a gentle and loving nature, preferring quiet cuddles to boisterous play. He's a champion snuggler and will melt your heart with his affectionate personality. As he's still a young puppy, he's eager to learn and explore the world, showing bravery and sociability. Sebastian is expected to do well with children, cats, and other dogs, provided any introductions are done carefully and with supervision. Because of his small size, it's important that any resident pets are gentle and experienced with tiny dogs. We don't know Sebastian's parents, so his breed mix and adult size are a mystery, offering an exciting journey of puppy surprises!
Ideal Home
Sebastian thrives in a home where someone is around more often than not to provide him with plenty of socialization, training, and care. If you work outside the home for more than 4 hours, we require another adult in the household to be available to care for him during the day. Homes with gentle and experienced pets who are accustomed to very small dogs are ideal.
Ongoing Health
Sebastian is a healthy young puppy.
Training & Support
As with all puppies, Sebastian is working on potty and crate training. He will need a family committed to consistent training, frequent potty breaks, positive reinforcement, and plenty of patience as he learns. Structure, routine, and supervision are key to his development into a confident and well-mannered adult.
