Patty

Hi there! I'm Patty, a sweet, curious, and energetic puppy with a heart-shaped nose and a very short tail. I might be a little shy and timid at first when I encounter new things, but I warm up quickly and am eager to learn! I'm told my missing tail is no indication of a missing personality, and I promise you'll get plenty of that! I hail from Texas but I've adjusted to the chill and absolutely love snuggling up in a warm blanket. I sleep quietly in my kennel at night and am doing a great job with potty training with frequent breaks. I'm working on being polite and leash walking, and I respond well to treats and positive reinforcement. I love to play with toys, especially chew toys, and while I enjoy fetch from afar, I'm still learning to return the ball. I'm generally a happy-go-lucky pup who loves everyone, including people of all ages, even the little ones! I've been a bit scared of the cat initially, but we're warming up to each other. I've also met some bigger dogs who have shown me the ropes, and I enjoy playing and chasing them in the yard. I'm looking for someone who can see past my initial shyness and appreciate my amazing spirit. With a little patience, continued training, walks, and cuddles, I promise to return endless kisses, love, and laughs!

I would love a home that can help me continue learning manners and leash walking, and of course, lots of walks and cuddles.

Training & Support

I am still learning to walk politely on a leash and not jump up when excited. I am eager to please and respond well to treats, so consistent training will help me succeed.
