Sassafras

Sassafras is a delightful 4-month-old puppy weighing in at 25 lbs! She recently completed a course of antibiotics and medicated baths for a skin infection and is now feeling much better and eager to find her forever home. Wisdom Panel DNA results show she's a unique blend with Great Pyrenees (21%), American Pit Bull Terrier (19%), Chow Chow (10%), and American Staffordshire Terrier (10%) among her top breeds. Sassafras is a playful pup with a lot of energy. She enjoys playing with her canine foster siblings and would be a wonderful addition to a home with another playful dog or an active family with children. She is progressing well with crate training and continues to make excellent strides with potty training.

Ideal Home

Sassafras would thrive in a home with another playful dog or an active family with children. Apartments are not suitable for Sassafras due to her breed mix.

Sassafras has recently completed treatment for a skin infection with antibiotics and medicated baths.

Training & Support

Sassafras is doing great with crate training and continues to make excellent progress with potty training.
