Peanut

Peanut is a 64-pound gentleman who is the epitome of serenity. He was once left behind but has decided not to sweat the small stuff, and is now waiting for a comfy couch and someone who appreciates a dog who knows how to vibe. Peanut is the kind of guy who wakes up, stretches, and then proceeds to nap like it's his full-time job. He is cool with everyone—dogs, kids, strangers—and is polite, steady, and unbothered. He is house-trained, crate-trained, and has smooth leash skills.

Peanut has a gentle play style; he’s down for a little romp but just as happy to spectate. He’s confident, easygoing, and adapts like a pro—apartment, house, or van life. He’d do fine with another dog or as your one-and-only chill companion. He’s mellow, social, easy to please, and doesn’t come with any fine print—just a soft coat, kind eyes, and a heart that’s ready to settle down.

Ideal Home

Peanut would do best in a home that appreciates a laid-back companion. He is comfortable with other dogs and children, but we recommend homes with children 10 years and over to ensure the best fit for both the pets and families involved.

Training & Support

Peanut is house-trained, crate-trained, and has excellent leash manners. He is an easygoing dog who adapts well to new environments.

Peanut is currently being fostered in Texas and will be transported to his perfect forever home by our rescue. Transports depart weekly.
