JD is an approximately 8-year-old Shih Tzu with a heart of gold, seeking a very special forever home where he can truly shine. JD arrived as a stray, so his past is a bit of a mystery, but he's shown us he's a sweet boy who loves his toys and enjoys playtime. He's also a fan of a fenced-in yard for zoomies and fetch, and he sometimes enjoys walks. JD can be a cuddlebug on a lap, especially when he's playing with his favorite stuffed animals.

Ideal Home

JD would thrive in a home as the only pet, as he prefers to be the sole furry companion. He's looking for one or two adult humans to share his life with, as he can be selective about who he bonds with. A home with a securely fenced yard is ideal for his exercise and potty needs. It would be best for JD not to be allowed on furniture, as he can become grumpy if disturbed once settled.
