Meet Mildred!

This sweet 8-year-old weighs just 46 pounds and is our low-energy shelter sweetheart. Mildred was found wandering near a local middle school with a few bumps and scars, but she was friendly from the very beginning and hasn't stopped winning people over since. She walks beautifully on leash, enjoys taking her time to sniff and explore, and is perfectly content spending an afternoon relaxing by your side. She loves treats, welcomes affection with enthusiasm, and will gladly accept all the back scratches you have to offer. If you're looking for a low-maintenance best friend who still has plenty of love to give, Mildred may be exactly who you've been waiting for.

Training & Support

Mildred walks beautifully on leash and is treat motivated. As always, we strongly recommend that resident dogs meet any new potential canine family members. If bringing a resident dog for a dog to dog test, please bring proof of Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella vaccines.
