RITCHEY ROO (aka Richard)

Ritchey Roo, affectionately known as Richard, is an approximately 5-6 year old, 90lb mixed breed with a personality as vibrant as his spirit! He's an exuberant and jubilant boy who also knows how to relax, making him a truly well-rounded companion. Richard absolutely adores people and thrives on human interaction, happily lounging inside or outside and soaking up affection. He's a great pup for a home, ideally with a fenced yard, and is house-trained, comfortable being left alone.

Ideal Home

Richard would thrive in a home where he can be the only spoiled pup. While he enjoys being in your company, he's not a velcro dog and can be independent. A fenced yard is ideal.

Ongoing Health

Richard came to us underweight and has since gained weight. He could benefit from a diet and/or increased physical activity.

Training & Support

Richard can be a gentle soul but also gets excited, sometimes jumping and invading personal space, especially when food or a leash is involved. He requires significant leash training as he is a strong puller. He has learned the command "OVER" to create personal space in bed. He does not seem to enjoy toys or playing fetch.
