Narissa

Narissa is a "wild child" who is looking for a very specific home where her unique personality can shine! She's a high-energy girl who loves to be the center of attention. Narissa enjoys sitting on laps, though she can be a bit wiggly and may get right in your face! She's very vocal when she wants to be held and has made a lot of progress in the two years she's been with us. While she can be sweet, she's also a flight risk and has a history of jumping fences and even a second-story deck. She's a pro at counter surfing and has a tendency to mark her territory.

Ideal Home

Narissa would do best in a home without children, as she has a history of biting kids. She also needs a home where cats and squirrels are not present, as they are a hard no for her. Due to her flight risk tendencies, a secure, well-maintained yard with a fence she cannot jump or dig under would be ideal.

Ongoing Health

Narissa is spayed and up-to-date on her vaccinations.

Training & Support

Narissa is potty trained and crate trained. However, she will ankle bite strangers who enter the home and needs ongoing support to manage this behavior. She is also nervous in the car and generally hyperactive, so continued positive reinforcement training will be beneficial.
