Buttons is ready to find his forever family! He's a 1-year-old, 8-pound male Chihuahua who is neutered and up-to-date on all his vaccinations. Buttons is a quiet and calm companion who rarely barks, but he can get a little overwhelmed in noisy environments. He loves to burrow in soft blankets and play with his toys. Buttons is crate trained and enjoys car rides. He is still working on housebreaking and will need a patient adopter to help him with a routine.
Ideal Home
Buttons would thrive in a quiet, low-key home where he can relax. A calm household is a must, as loud noises and high energy can make him nervous. He does well with other small dogs who have a gentle demeanor.
Ongoing Health
Buttons is neutered and up-to-date on all vaccinations, including Rabies, DHLPP, and Bordetella. He has been dewormed and is on monthly flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. He will be microchipped and receive a fecal exam and health certificate within 10 days of transport.
Training & Support
Buttons is crate trained and rides well in the car. He is still learning housebreaking and will need a patient adopter to help him establish a good routine. He may have occasional "happy puddles" or "stage fright" when nervous or excited, but this is expected to decrease as he settles into a secure routine.
