Meet Brunson, a 2-year-old, 25-pound sweetheart with a heart as big as his spirit. Brunson's journey began when he was abandoned behind a government building in Puerto Rico. For over a month, he navigated a tough environment, trying to make friends with other dogs despite facing several attacks. Even after enduring so much, Brunson's trust and hope never wavered. He approached every encounter with a wagging tail, always ready to offer kindness. Rescuers found him still eager for affection, a testament to his resilient and loving nature.

Now in foster care in Puerto Rico, Brunson has truly blossomed. He's an incredibly affectionate and laid-back companion who cherishes quiet afternoons cuddling on the couch. Brunson gets along wonderfully with kids, cats, and other dogs, proving he's a true friend to all. His foster parent describes him as a dog who simply wants to give and receive love. He deserves a forever home where he will be cherished and never left behind again.
