Meet Matilda Woodworm, a truly special girl who has blossomed into a picture of resilience and love! At approximately 9 months old and weighing around 35-40 lbs, this mixed breed sweetheart has overcome a difficult past. She arrived in rescue suffering from neglect and mange, but thanks to dedicated treatment, good nutrition, and an abundance of affection, Matilda has transformed into a beautiful dog with a soft, full coat and an even more radiant spirit.
Matilda's rough start has not dimmed her zest for life or her love for people. She is incredibly sweet, affectionate, and finds her greatest joy in being close to her humans. Whether she's happily trailing you from room to room, snuggling up for a cozy nap, or simply offering her quiet company, Matilda is a devoted companion. Her gentle and joyful personality is sure to win over everyone she meets.
This social butterfly also gets along wonderfully with other dogs. Having been fostered with both a playful puppy and a larger 100 lb dog, Matilda is comfortable and enthusiastic about playing with canine friends of all sizes, ages, and genders. If a furry companion is ready for some fun and games, Matilda is eager to join in! After a good play session, she's content to relax with a favorite chew toy.
Matilda is crate trained and is a highly food-motivated learner, making training a fun and rewarding experience. She is currently making great progress with her potty training and continues to improve daily.
