KIMBA

KIMBA is an extra special 4-year-old, male German Shepherd mix weighing around 80lbs. He's very social with people and absolutely loves affection, just wanting to be included in everything. KIMBA has a tough past, having been abandoned in boarding for years by a previous rescue and searching for a forever home since he was just 9 months old. After three years without stability, he's finally ready to find his perfect match.

Ideal Home

KIMBA needs a home with a strong owner who can provide him with stability and a consistent routine. Without it, he can become a bit "bratty" and test boundaries. Because of his past experiences, he would do best as the only dog in the household, though he may have the capability to make doggy friends in different homes.

Training & Support

KIMBA knows how to walk in heel and enjoys his crate time so much that he'll rush back to it after potty breaks! He's a good boy who tolerates nail trims and behaves well in public. He's eager to please and a fast learner, with known cues including sit, down, shake, stay, place, heel, and out. He has been very receptive to training and will bring much love and joy.
