Starlight is a 45 lb, estimated to be around 4 years old, Mountain Cur x Staffordshire Terrier mix with a gorgeous appearance and a beautiful heart. She has a gentle and affectionate temperament, loving nothing more than hugs and kisses from her humans. Starlight is also very patient with other dogs and would likely fit right into many families. She and her best friend Moonbeam were rescued from the streets of Houston, Texas, just before a harsh freeze. Starlight had a painful skin infection and was underweight, but she's now happy, healthy, and ready for her forever home.

Ideal Home

Starlight would thrive in a home that can offer her plenty of affection. She is patient with other dogs and would likely do well in a home with canine companions.

Ongoing Health

Starlight is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed. She has recovered from a past skin infection and is now healthy.

Training & Support

Starlight is kennel and potty trained. She is also eligible for discounted training services with Curbed Behaviors Dog Training.

Transportation

Starlight is located in Houston, Texas. Transport is included in the adoption fee and may go to a nearby town or state. We coordinate with multiple ground transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states. Adopters can track the transport van using the Life360 app and will receive updates.
