Eddie

Hi there! I'm Eddie, a playful and snuggly Shepherd mix born in October 2017. I was found wandering the streets of South Carolina as a puppy with a rectal prolapse, but thankfully, I was rescued and received life-saving surgery. While I still strain a bit when I go to the bathroom, my vet says I'll continue to improve as I heal.

I'm told I'm an incredibly adorable boy, and I have to agree! I love to play, but once I've tired myself out, I'm the best snuggler. I'm doing great with house training, I'm a good boy in my crate, and I've already mastered some basic commands. I'm eager to please and have so much love to give. I can't wait to shower my new family with sweet kisses and cuddles!

Ideal Home

Eddie is a very friendly boy who is good with people of all ages and other dogs.

Ongoing Health

Eddie had surgery for a rectal prolapse and may still strain a little when he goes to the bathroom, but he is expected to continue to heal and improve. He will be up to date on age-appropriate vaccines prior to placement.

Training & Support

Eddie is doing well with house training, is good in his crate, and knows some basic commands. He's eager to please and ready to continue learning.
