Marsh

Hi there, I'm Marsh! I'm a 100% American Bully with a heart as big as my love for people. I've worked hard on my obedience and am proud to say I know "sit," "drop it," and "come." My off-leash recall is excellent, and my people and I enjoy off-leash walks together. I'm crate trained, house trained, and comfortable with a wireless training collar and fence. I love car rides, treats, and being close to my humans – I'm a true lap dog at heart! I also get along well with horses and cows, but I do have a prey drive, so I'm not the best fit for cats, chickens, or other small animals. I'm great with older children (8+) and most adults, but I can be protective, so slow, controlled introductions are key for me to feel safe and confident.

Ideal Home

I would do best as the only dog in the home, or with a calm, non-dominant canine friend. I'm not a good match for homes with cats, chickens, or other small animals due to my prey drive. I do best with children aged 8 and older.

Ongoing Health

I am neutered, microchipped, up-to-date on my vaccines, and on heartworm prevention (Simparica Trio). I currently weigh about 54 pounds.

Training & Support

I have great basic obedience and off-leash recall. I am house and crate trained. While I get along with my current senior dog housemate most of the time, we occasionally have disagreements over toys, the couch, or our people. I just need a family who understands my personality and can help me navigate these situations.

Transportation

I'm currently in Surgoinsville, TN, but I can be transported to an approved adoptive home. A fee may apply depending on distance and volunteer availability.
