Meet Rio, a handsome pup who looks like he's made of black and white cookie dough, hence his name! This smart and eager-to-please boy is a whiz at training, picking up new commands quickly for a tasty reward. He knows his name, sit, come, and down, and even works for cooperative care and a hand target. Rio absolutely loves a good game of fetch and tug, and his floppy ears, freckled snoot, and the faint smell of Frito feet are sure to win you over. He's a playful pup who gets the zoomies when excited, but he's also happy to cuddle on the couch like a potato. Bath time and nail trims are no problem for this adaptable dog.

Ideal Home

Rio would do best in a home with a sturdy, tolerant dog of his own size or larger who can help him refine his dog-on-dog skills. He needs a canine companion who isn't easily annoyed but will offer gentle corrections to his boisterous play. He is not a fan of cats and will not do well in a home with them. Rio enjoys car rides but is still working on his comfort with restraints, so a patient owner is a must.

Rio is a fantastic learner and loves to train, especially for food. He is crate trained.
