CAMILIA

Hola! My name is Camilia! I'm a charming Foxhound Mix, approximately 6 years old, and weigh around 45.8 lbs. I'm a confident and affectionate girl who loves nothing more than cozying up with my favorite humans. My previous owner left me at a boarding facility when I was a year old, and while I was underweight and a bit unwell, the kind staff nursed me back to health. I've spent the last few years feeling loved and safe, and now I'm ready to find my furever home!

Ideal Home

I'm a calm and gentle soul who enjoys plenty of beauty sleep, making me a great companion for a relaxed household. I can do well as the only dog or with other canine friends, though I prefer my meals to be all mine – no sharing my dinner! My reactions to cats and small animals are unknown, so a home willing to help me learn and manage these behaviors would be wonderful.

Ongoing Health

I've made a full recovery from past malnutrition and the vet says I'm a healthy girl! I am spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. Please note that it's common for rescue dogs to need dental work after adoption, and these costs are the adopter's responsibility.

Training & Support

I'm a work in progress when it comes to leash manners and housetraining. I enjoy sniffing everything on walks, and with a well-fitted harness and some dedicated training, I'm sure I'll become a pro! Frequent potty breaks and positive reinforcement will help me master housetraining in my new home. We encourage all adopters to do some research and training before your new companion arrives.
