Penny Love is a beautiful, easygoing Lab mix, approximately 1.5 years old and weighing 70 lbs. She has a calm, balanced temperament that makes her a joy to be around. Penny is a gentle soul with an old-school vibe, content to relax near her people without being overly demanding. She's the perfect companion for someone seeking a steady, loyal friend.

Ideal Home

Penny Love would do best in a home with a calm, mature male dog who respects her space and enjoys companionable quietude over boisterous play. If there are no other dogs, Penny is perfectly content to be the sole focus of her family's affection. She is also cat-friendly and would do well in a home with aloof, independent cats similar to those she lives with currently. A home with a nice big backyard would be wonderful for her to roam and relax in, though she can also thrive in an apartment setting due to her mellow nature.

Ongoing Health

Penny Love is up-to-date on all her vetting, which includes DAPP with booster, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccines, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, and a 12-month injectable heartworm preventative. She has also been tested for heartworm and received treatment if needed.

Training & Support

Penny Love is potty trained and is making progress with crate training. She knows basic commands like "sit" and is eager to please. She enjoys casual strolls and is a snuggly pal at the end of the day.

Penny Love is located in Texas and can be transported nationwide using our rescue's USDA-certified transport system. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. There is an $87 surcharge for transportation.
