Whoopi - A Sweet Girl Hoping for a Miracle

Whoopi is a truly unforgettable girl with a heart full of love to give. She was found abandoned and alone, but thanks to the dedication of a rescuer and loving care, she's on the road to recovery from heartworm and ready to embrace the life she deserves. Whoopi is a cuddly companion who adores belly rubs and face scratches, always wanting to be close to her people. She's generally calm and easygoing, content with naps by your side, but can get a burst of playful energy. Her sweet smile and squishy cheeks are sure to steal your heart!

Ideal Home

Whoopi would do best in a home without cats. We are still learning about her interactions with other dogs, as she had one experience with an aggressive dog. A fenced yard would be ideal as she continues to build her confidence.

Ongoing Health

Whoopi has been diagnosed with heartworm but is well on her way to a full recovery with treatment.

Training & Support

Whoopi is a smart cookie! She is already potty trained, knows "sit," and learns routines quickly. She respects household rules, only chews on her toys, and enjoys car rides. She has started leash training with a prong collar and has made great progress. Ongoing introductions to other dogs and continued work on her social skills will be beneficial.
