Elsa is a beautiful, 4-year-old, 85-pound bundle of joy, a mix of Catahoula and Labrador Retriever with striking ice-blue eyes! She's a loving goofball who craves affection and stability. Elsa is quiet, rarely barks, and is fearless in her adventures. Her strong prey drive makes her an excellent candidate for hunting, but due to this, she should not be placed in a home with cats, hamsters, or other small pets. She gets along well with small dogs in her foster home, but because she doesn't always realize her own size, she would do best with older children or teenagers rather than toddlers or infants. Elsa lives to fetch and is rarely seen without a toy in her mouth!
Ideal Home
Elsa would thrive in a home with older children or teenagers. Due to her strong prey drive, she should not be in a home with cats, hamsters, or other small pets. She needs a securely fenced yard.
Ongoing Health
Elsa is up-to-date on all vaccinations, spayed, and microchipped. She was rescued from the streets in poor condition with fur loss and ear infections, but has since made a full physical and mental recovery.
Training & Support
Elsa is still learning to live inside and be part of a family. She craves structure and affection and will benefit from consistent guidance.
