Meet Red, our longest resident and a true ray of sunshine! This 4-year-old pittie mix is an energetic, affectionate boy with a whole lot of love to give. Red was rescued along with 15 other dogs from a Florida shelter that was devastated by hurricanes Helene and Milton. After 1.5 years with us, he's still patiently waiting for his forever home! He's been a joy to have, loving his time in the yard, playing with staff, and soaking up all the snuggles from volunteers. He's fully housetrained and a favorite for day trips and fostering! Red's happy-go-lucky nature is sure to bring a smile to your face every day. He's a bit of a "ladies man" when it comes to other dogs and people, often preferring the company of females, but with slow and proper introductions, he can warm up to anyone. To help him finally find his forever family, his adoption fee has been WAIVED! Red is an easygoing, lovable goofball who promises a lifetime of love. We promised Red that the rest of his life would be the best of his life. Could that be with you?
