Jolene is a beautiful and brave Retriever/Shepherd mix puppy. She was found with her mom and siblings on a Houston bayou and is now ready to find her forever home where she can play, cuddle, and grow up loved. Jolene is full of life, curious, and loves to wrestle, chase, and play tug-of-war with her dog friends. She thrives with a canine companion and feels most secure with another pup by her side. She is balanced and respectful with other dogs, never pushy but confident enough to hold her own. Jolene also lives peacefully with a cat, proving her adaptability. While she may be cautious in new situations, Jolene adjusts quickly and is eager to please. She is easy to train, responds well to gentle redirection, and listens attentively. She is mostly potty trained, crate trained (though she may whine a little at first), and is comfortable being handled.
Ideal Home
Jolene would do well in just about any home, but she’d be happiest with another pup to grow and play with. Homes with children 10 years and over are recommended to ensure the best fit for both the pets and families involved. Jolene is apartment adaptable with regular walks.

Transporation
Jolene is currently being fostered in Texas and will be transported to her forever home by our rescue. We have transports departing each week.
