Meet Poppy, a delightful girl eager to find her forever home where she can truly shine! Poppy has a great foundation for home life, being both house-trained and crate-trained. While she's comfortable in her crate, she prefers to spend most of her time out and about, enjoying being part of the family's activities. She loves going for walks and, though she might pull a little at the start, she settles into a nice pace. Poppy has a moderate to high energy level, making her an excellent companion for someone who enjoys daily activity and playtime.

Poppy would thrive in a home with a fenced yard where she can run and play safely. She has lived successfully with a cat and coexists peacefully with feline friends. While she does well with adults, her experience with children is unknown. Poppy's relationship with other dogs is good after proper introductions and a period of adjustment. She would do best as an only dog or in a home with an experienced owner who can manage introductions.

Transportation
Poppy is located in Cary, NC. Our foster guardians deliver dogs to their new homes for adoption trials, and we conduct home visits to finalize all adoptions. We prefer applicants who live no further than one hour from Cary, NC, as our dogs must be seen by a veterinarian for all medical care prior to adoptions being finalized. For the perfect home for Poppy, we will consider applicants who live a bit further away.
