About Sable

Sable is a sweet young Akita lady, born on May 5th, 2022. She's a spayed female who is up to date on all her vaccines, microchipped, and is current on flea and heartworm prevention. Sable is also heartworm negative! She has a wonderful foundation of training, being house trained, crate trained, and leash trained. Sable's journey to us was a bit sad; she was initially surrendered after a kind person rescued her from being abandoned in a crate outside a store. She found a loving home in July 2022, but as she grew, she started to have some disagreements with another dog in the household. Sable can be a little shy at first, and while she's a sweetheart, she is reactive towards dogs that are loud or display similar reactive behaviors.

Ideal Home

Sable would be a wonderful companion in a home of her own, or she could potentially share her life with a calm and mellow male canine friend.

Sable is generally healthy and all her preventative care is up to date.

Training & Support

Sable is a well-trained girl with a good start in house, crate, and leash manners. She can be shy and is reactive to certain dog personalities, so continued positive reinforcement and careful introductions to other dogs will help her thrive.
