We know she's sweet because we see it in the little moments: the way she watches, quietly follows routines, wants to be near without necessarily interacting, and finds comfort in the presence of other dogs. Ideal Home
A home with at least one confident, social dog is non-negotiable for Marigold. She looks to other dogs for guidance and reassurance and is far more comfortable navigating the world when she has a canine role model nearby. She appears wonderfully respectful of cats and has shown little to no interest in them during encounters. Marigold is not a cuddly dog, and will not tolerate cuddles at this time.

Training & Support
Marigold is incredibly smart and learns quickly. She is fully potty trained and has excellent house manners, not being destructive. She sleeps outside of her kennel on a dog bed and has settled nicely into household life. Scatter rugs occasionally seem to relocate around the house when nobody is looking. She needs a patient home with a predictable routine and people who will celebrate the small victories right alongside her.

Marigold is located in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue run USDA certified transport system. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada. Canadian adopters can pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT. You can track their journey in real time and receive photo updates. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
