Ducky Bubby is a 4-year-old, 55 lb Lab mix with an irresistibly goofy, sweet, and slightly awkward personality. His signature "teefies" (little teeth poking out) are sure to steal your heart, and his unintentional antics will keep you laughing. Ducky is a gentle soul who is exceptionally good with children, possessing a calm and steady presence. He enjoys playing with toys, chasing balls, and learning new tricks, especially when treats are involved. He's also very friendly with other dogs and has shown to be respectful of cats. Ducky would be happy in a home with a backyard for exploring or could adapt well to apartment living, as he is quiet in his crate and walks nicely on a leash. He's already house-trained and eager to please, making him a wonderful family companion.
Ideal Home
Ducky would thrive in a home with a backyard where he can sunbathe and explore, but he could also do well in an apartment. He would do best in a home with other goofy and confident dogs, as he can be a little shy initially and feeds off the confidence of his canine friends.
Ongoing Health
Ducky is a rescue and while we can't guarantee breed or age, he is believed to be around 4 years old. He has received all age-appropriate vetting, including vaccinations, deworming, flea and heartworm prevention, and is microchipped.
Training & Support
Ducky is treat-motivated and already knows basic commands like "sit." He is eager to learn new tricks and enjoys playing fetch with himself. He has great house manners and is fully potty trained.

Transportation
Ducky is currently located in Texas. We offer nationwide transport through our USDA-certified transport system. Drop-off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). A $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs. Texas adopters must pick up in the Houston area.
